Since CF27 was collared, she has been monitored closely with her cubs. The collar, provided by the Forever Wild Foundation, is functioning well, providing reliable daily GPS locations.
Regular follow-ups have enabled consistent observations, and, thanks to this, the team has been able to confirm the sex of the cubs: three males and one female.
Ongoing monitoring will allow Wildlife ACT to track cub survival to adulthood and eventually dispersal, contributing valuable insights to inform the effective management of our population.
