We’re pleased to share that the male cheetah on Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park, recently treated for
serious injuries, is making excellent progress. Thanks to the support of Forever Wild
Foundation in providing advanced tracking technology, the Wildlife ACT team has been able
to monitor his recovery closely while he rests in a temporary predator holding facility.
We look forward to his imminent release and will continue to track his movements post-
release, reinforcing how long-term monitoring helps give vulnerable wildlife a second
chance.
